Download Trailers of New Movies on Vidmate – Quick Guide

Download Trailers of New Movies on Vidmate – Quick Guide

Why I Started Downloading Trailers

Every time a new movie drops the trailer first comes online. I love watching trailers but my internet is not always fast. And sometimes I wanna rewatch a trailer offline without wasting data again. That’s when I thought maybe Vidmate can help.

I been using it for songs and memes so I tried it for trailers. Turns out it’s perfect for this too.

Step 1 – Open Vidmate and Type Movie Name

Simple first step – open Vidmate. In the top search bar I typed “Pushpa 2 trailer” and boom it showed bunch of results from YouTube Facebook and some random sites too.

You can type any movie name + “trailer” and Vidmate shows it in seconds.

Step 2 – Choose Right Video Source

Sometimes same trailer shows from multiple channels. I always choose official channel video like T-Series or Sony Pictures to get best quality and no fake title.

Tap on the video thumbnail then Vidmate shows you download options – video formats and also audio sometimes.

Step 3 – Pick Your Resolution and Download

Vidmate gives you different formats like:

  • 360p – if you saving data
  • 480p – average quality
  • 720p / 1080p – for HD trailer feel
  • Sometimes even 4K if original upload supports it

I usually go for 720p because it looks sharp and downloads fast. Tap on it and Vidmate starts downloading it to your phone automatically.

Works for Bollywood and Hollywood

I tried trailers for:

  • Indian Movies – Pushpa 2, Jawan, Animal
  • Hollywood – Deadpool 3, Avatar 2
  • South Indian films too – Vidmate handles all

As long as the trailer is public on YouTube or any open site Vidmate can catch it.

Save Time with the Trending Tab

Vidmate also has a trending section inside app. If any big movie trailer is going viral you might already find it there. I saw “Salaar trailer” appear there within one hour of upload.

Just tap from that tab and download directly no need to search.

Got Bugs? Try This Fix

Once or twice Vidmate failed to detect trailer properly. I fixed it by:

  • Refreshing the search
  • Switching to Wi-Fi
  • Updating to latest Vidmate version
  • Or searching same trailer from Facebook or Dailymotion instead of YouTube

These tricks mostly work when the app acts weird.

Why Vidmate is Better than Other Apps

I tested other apps like TubeMate but they had limited options and popups. Vidmate gives clean UI and more source options. Also it shows trailer size before download so you don’t get shocked after wasting data.

Plus it works smooth even on old phones. I used it on a 2019 model and still downloaded HD trailers without crash.

Bonus Tip – Make Trailer Playlist

Once you downloaded few trailers using Vidmate you can:

  • Create a local playlist
  • Watch back-to-back without net
  • Share trailers with friends over Bluetooth or WhatsApp
  • Use them to hype up your own status or Insta story
  • I sometimes mix 3 trailers and make a mini edit using another video app.

My Honest Opinion

If you love cinema and follow new movies then downloading trailers is a smart move. You don’t have to stream again and again. With Vidmate you get HD version saved forever. No ads. No buffering. Just quick download and enjoy.

I been using it like this for past 2 years and never had issue with trailers.
